Ger is practicing CranioSacral Therapy since 2001, and is an advanced therapist with Paediatrics training. He is a therapist Fairgreen Holistic Clinic, Naas, Co. Kildare since 2002. He is a register member and past committee member of the Irish Association for CranioSacral Therapists.

Ger who was involved in horticulture for 10 years, always had an interest in complementary medicine. He trained in Massage, Reiki and CranioSacral Therapy. Soon Ger`s experiences using CranioSacral Therapy while working with his clients, lead him to work exclusively with this wonderful and progressive therapy.

Since 2003 he has been organising and running study groups for the alumni of the Upledger Institute Ireland and was recently been appointed Study Group Facilitators Coordinatitor. Ger and Mary Brady his fellow CranioSacral Therapist at the Fairgreen Holistic Clinic have been organising Continuous Professional Development workshops for CranioSacral Therapists and information lectures to the general public since 2006.

From March 2007 they will be working directly for the Upledger Institute Ireland , organising training workshops and preparing the institute for the self regulation of CranioSacral Therapy.

Gers clients include children and adults of all ages including new born babies and all stages of pregnancy with a broad spectrum of complaints.

 

Mary Brady, BA, HDip, DipEd, ITEC, IACST.

Mary has been a practising craniosacral therapist at the Fairgreen Holistic Clinic, Naas, since 2003. She has trained with the Upledger Institute and reached advanced level. She has also trained in craniosacral therapy for paediatrics.

With her colleague, Ger Swords, Mary has been working closely with the Upledger Institute. They have arranged CPD(continual professional development) workshops for craniosacral therapists and information lectures for the general public.

From March, 2007, they will act as sole organisers for the training at CST 1 and 2 levels in Ireland .

Mary is an alumnus of University College Dublin(UCD) and St Patrick's University, Maynooth.

After qualifying as a primary school teacher at St Patrick's College in Drumcondra, Dublin , she focused on her main interest, which was working with children with special educational needs.

Mary spent many happy years working with the children in Bonnybrook, Coolock. and in the inner city at Marlborough Street . In recent years she has been working as a special education teacher in the Naas area.

Mary has always had an interest in holistic medicine and trained in reflexology before discovering craniosacral therapy. It was the effectiveness of craniosacral therapy on a wide range of people and its gentle, non invasive approach that attracted her to it.

She is a registered member of the IACST(Irish Association for Craniosacral Therapists) and is a former committee member of the organisation.
